The study suggests that a drug produced on the basis of turmeric can be a safe remedy of removing bone and muscle pain resulting from strenuous physical activity.
Turmeric is more effective in removing pain from popular painkillers, according to a new study by an Italian pharmaceutical company. Dr. Francesco di Piero, the author of the study, said that after three weeks of using turmeric, it was found that the football players did not feel pain, that is, it was easier for them to drink turmeric. Unlike painkillers, the consumption of turmeric has no adverse effects.
Use turmeric before ever swallowing painkillers again
The study suggests that a drug produced on the basis of turmeric can be a safe remedy, therefore, removing bone pain. And muscle pain resulting from strenuous physical activity, says Dr. Piero.
Researchers believe that turmeric helps to treat inflammatory conditions, including arthritis, cancer, and heart disease.
The research involved 50 football players from Italy. Half of them treated with painkillers and half with turmeric. It was established that both groups had reduced pain. But that the group that used standard drugs had multiple digestive disorders.
The research is published in the European edition of the journal Medical and Pharmacological Sciences.
